I have a bid/ask question for people.

Right now the bid is 9 7/16 and the ask, 9 9/16. The bidsize is 10 [1,000 shares] and the asksize 21 [2,100 shares].

With a discrepancy like this, does it mean there is pressure on the stock because more people want to sell than want to buy?

For someone holding the stock, does this also mean it will take quite a bit of time for the share price to rise and possibly establish a base due to the bidsize/asksize discrepancy?

Basically, I'm trying to figure out the significance of bid and ask sizes for stock price movement.

Lynn
