The thing is thought that this guy gets lots of attention. CNBC had him on market wrap last night, the only analyst interviewed, explaining the Ericsson story....

Said Nokia has bested them this year etc.. but that they're "investing" a lot in 3G, which should position them well.Positive on MOT. Said he felt there was room for 2 or 3 big players. No mention CDMA or Q of course, but we're smallfry aint we...DMG

>His position all along has been so shallow and simplistic....

No shortage of that elsewhere at SI. The AMZN thread is filled with it. Funny thing is some of those folks have made a lot of money being "wrong."

Had the same discussions with the MSFT vs. NSCP folks a few years ago. NSCP was going to rule the world according to several employees who posted on that board.

Bottom line is that QCOM has been a loser these last few years during the biggest stock market boom in history. That alone will continue to depress the stock. What we need is some real attention grabbing news. The average investor must be skeptical of the MSFT deal and rightfully so based on the Real.com deal.

At a 1.1 times annual sales and good growth and profits, you've got to ask yourself why hasn't somebody taken a run at buying these guys? Is this such a crap business, don't think so? So why not? It's a bargain. Look what AT&T is paying for companies. The low valuation means minimum risk to me.

Did you know that this site was the 5th or 6th most watched site at SI a few days ago? There's a following who don't get it just yet. When they do look out!
