The lack of patents has been stated in MRVC SEC docs. for quite some time, nothing new here. The insurance policies R as common as rain in Seattle for many senior execs. Shoveling thru the mtn. of bs I too felt 'disparged' as to the prospects of our investment. Gotta stay away from those things... Didn't see any mention of the terabit router project, wonder why? Thought the customer list looked pretty good, always has, but 'runnin rudolph' I'll be damned if I know exactly what 'components' are sold to which companies. I do believe that the Bell South/Reltech 'Disc System' has some MRV gear in it. Christmas wish.... for our brilliant 'genie-ass' PHD/engineers to perhaps 'enlighten' its shareholders as to what the fudge goes on more...maybe even a smidgen of insider purchasing b4 the end of the year. Oh, I forgot our guys don't celebrate Xmas...damn!

In this business by the time a patent is issued you've wasted your time. The technology is out of date before the patent runs out. There are certain exceptions like the laser and some others.
