I think you guys brought a very important issue here. I think the main reason for individual investor's addiction for IOM is due to the cheap price with which the stock trades (single digit to < 20) and also it is volatile attracting traders. Take the case of CSCO or MSFT, they always look expensive and also too boring (they always go up ;-). So,
indv investors don't face challenge from the proven stocks. Indv investors like to gamble while institutions go with standard ones (even if they go for small stocks, their over all % will be negligible). This explains why IOM has only 8% institutional support and it is mostly a small investor stock.

All these might change though, as IOM proves itself with consistant numbers. Atleast i hope that this is the case so that IOM attracts some long term investors and not just traders alone. In fact, it is a major -ve if this thread is less logical and more HYPE/dream oriented. Any potential long term investor will be ticked off by that.

hoping things will get better and the curse for IOM will be over ;-)
