He is always on CNBC with his shill Greenberg telling you (If you can read between the lines) how he is playing a certain stock and wants you to participate through fear or greed. He's no dummy. P.T. Barnum once said "There's a sucker born every minute". Cramer reminds me of what 'ol Barnum must have been like. I like the guy for his chutzpah. Entertaining for sure. But playing with him is playing to him. Call the bluff every time.

I don't know anyone who cares about Cramer's opinion or
Herb's. Herb once said the more hate mails he gets the
more he confirms that he is right. Talk about loonies!
I often wonder why CNBC even brings them to their shows.

Actually, and it pains me to say this, Cramer was completely correct when he surmised the entire enterprise software sector (including the apps companies) were going down after the march qtr informix numbers earlier this year. I thought he was wrong and watched my applications stocks sebl, itwo etc rise for about another 2 months and then - catastrophe.

I dont know about other sectors but in software Cramer has been more right than wrong.

That said, the sql server threat to Orcl is old news - pre-8i and DOJ. I havent heard anything about sql server at all - and I was expecting a huge push coordinated with Dell.
