Greg, Thanks for the suggestion I will start calling on Monday. Neither the dealer or other garage even suggested a leak- down test. The one garage was actually quite anxious for me to give them the go ahead right then and there and order a rebuilt motor. I really wonder about some of these places, do they really think that someone would just automatically say sure lets spend $3000. and get another engine just cause they say so, without getting another opinion. And they wanted me to right away. Boy oh boy! Many thanks Greg
