Jeff and Triff,

I'm very happy that the two of you are sharing your honest opinions about Tokyo Mex's trading group. I hope all thread members will read your posts and figure your experience in with their own decisions to trade his picks.

I think that we have the opportunity to become a thread filled with detailed and timely information about a wide variety of issues if we continue our course of the following:

No Hyping.
No Guru.
Honesty in posting trades.
Thorough due diligence.
The specialist system.

PS: How about an end-of day run on EDS and/or LLY if we rally this afternoon?

Triffin -

With TMEX it has to be a numbers game concerning the membership. I don't think the 35K or 40K is that important to him. But with the amount of membership and MARGIN they carry, it ALMOST ALWAYS affects the stock.

Can you imagine what would happen if all 700 or so members got their email at exactly the same time! The stock would go absolutely out of sight (momo play)(of course that's if you get in).

I think he is honestly working to solve the problem so as to benefit everyone, but it will take a little time. John

Triffin: Tmex - He is pretty good about posting all of his picks on the thread regardless of how they do. Problem is, many see it on the thread before they get the email. That $35,000/mo. ($50 x 700 members) will make it impossible to ever go back to the way it used to be.

I don't even mind front running as this is what we were basically doing and what we were paying for. I think that can be a very viable service ... to have a small group of people, with a waiting list to come on board, and have a large public following. At least there is some intrinsic value there knowing that you will be one of 50 that get in first before the pick is made.

I have no plans for this type of service as I believe the information should be freely shared. The only way I would ever consider it is if I decided to form and administer an exclusive day/position-traders club and had a private board for our postings/picks/research and a public board where we could have input and answer questions from wannabe members.....to attract a public following.

Something like this would have potential I feel, but the group should be limited to just a certain number of individuals so as not to get too large.
