anyone here think this could be wave 3 down we are in?? take a look at 1937 stock market..same thing sort of happened..almost a new high and then straight down relentlessly...

Jim,

Thomas C's post to you mirrors my concern I just posted to Haim.

Look at VGY (this is one reason I look at it): it is a more conservative index and is showing what you are seeing and has been right along.

Hi Jim,
While a few days or weeks do not a trend make, I also believe we are seeing the signs of a liquidity dry up. The volume has been decreasing on most of the stocks I watch. Combining this with equity fund outflows and a negative savings rate I believe the rally is over and there is more risk to the downside than a continuation to new highs. My most reliable indicator is predicting sideways for an extended period.
