GB, (DOW JONES) DJN: Wavetech/Nasdaq Exception -2: Shares Closed At 1/2 Toda DJN: Wavetech/Nasdaq Exception -2: Shares Closed At 1/2 Today TUCSON, Ariz. (Dow Jones)--Wavetech International Inc. (ITEL) has received an exception from the Nasdaq minimum bid requirement through Feb. 1. In a press release Thursday, telecommunications company Wavetech said if it meets the terms of the exception it will remain listed on the Nasdaq SmallCap market. Nasdaq rules require that SmallCap companies trade with a minimum bid price in excess of $1 a share. Shares of Wavetech closed unchanged at 1/2, on volume of 39,000.
