Hi Mark, let me answer your CRII questions as best I can.

You are absolutely correct. It IS a niche market right now.
That is my entire point!

First, let me say that the current unit for $2000 is what they charge
hospitals, doctors offices, etc.. I'm assuming they'll drop it a bit for consumers.

But IF NOT... wait, no fear... they plan on offering an even smaller, less costly unit in March 1999 (3 mos away) for $1000 per unit (I'll throw in the Ginsu knives and potato peeler)

So, we are really looking at a $2k unit for 3 months, and a $1k unit there after.

Now, back to your point.

I beleive there are 500,000 people out of 100 million world diabetics
with the wealth to purchase a,as you call it, a "niche" product like this.

Look, if this unit was selling for $100-$300... we would have at least 30-50 million diabetics buying this unit.

I am not blind to that fact.

I am saying, there are 500K "well off" people out there in this world with this disease who want a better quality of life for them OR their children.

Again, do you own a home computer? Yes.

How much did you pay for it?

$1K? $2K?

If YOU have disposible income like that... I believe a small 1/2 of 1%
of diabetics do as well.

I believe it is much greater like 3-5%...but I like to be conservative.

If only 100,000 people buy a $1000 unit that is a $100 million market.

And this stock has a market cap of $15mil

How many units do they need to sell in order to justify a market cap of $15 mil (where they are now?)

7500 - 10,000 people in a 100 million person diabetic popuation.

So no matter HOW LOW you think the number to be... CRII is an absolute steal.

And what do you know, CRII up ANOTHER .10

$3.59

Mark, the lancet market is fairly large. But, as you know dominated by BDX Becton Dickinson. If the laser lancet gets wider acceptance I think that B&D will enter the market with their laser lancet technology designed for them by JMAR technologies, JMAR. This is not to say that CRII won't be successful, because it could be very successful. However, I think that until B&D sees a market for the laser lancet insurance companies will be reluctant to cover the laser lancet, which may greatly effect the market for the laser lancet.

What do you think?
