PTI HOLDING INC. ANNOUNCES STOCK REPURCHASE PROGRAM;
Company to Buy Back 25% of Shares Outstanding
YONKERS, N.Y., Dec. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- PTI Holding Inc. (Nasdaq: PTII) announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the repurchase of up to twenty five percent of the outstanding or 1,275,000 shares of the Company's stock. The authorizations include both open market purchases as well as private transactions. The amount, timing and share price of any repurchase will be approved from time to time at the discretion of the Company's management and Board of Directors. Such purchases will be suspended from time to time as required by applicable securities laws and regulations.

PTI Holding Inc. manufactures and distributes a full line of safety helmets, bicycles, bicycle accessories, and health and beauty care products. Important licenses held by PTI are Barbie(TM), Spice Girls(TM), Tonka(TM), and Playskool(TM). PTI products are sold nationwide at Toys "R" Us, Target Stores, Sports Authority and Sam's Club.
