All,

From the conference call, it is clear that the Jedi (MXi) will not ship until Q2, but will definitely be a 0.18u part. At the beginning of the CC, it was stated that a high ranking Cyrix exec will be giving a cyrix product demonstration on 2/17. I assume that this will be the first Jedi demonstration. Also, MII 350 parts were sampled last quarter and should soon be appearing at retail. The Portland fab is only 1/3 capitalized, but at full utilization. Capital spending for the coming year has been increased by about 80 million dollars to further capitalize Portland to support strong Cyrix growth. This spending increase could offset profits for several quarters. Volume shipments of the new Comcore products are not expected until 2H calendar '99. The MediaPC is still on schedule, but will only debut in the 300 Mhz range (due to low power requirements). Cyrix has a cautous outlook and has only asked their sales force to increase Cyrix unit sales by 30-50% in the coming quarter. This is probably due to production limitations at this time. I expect rocky times for the next two quarters, but expect the stock to be in the $20s (and heading up) by 2H '99.

Pravin.
