you have a great point! Alot of discussion threads on S/I now spend their evenings here to see what they can try to crash down. Thats EXACTLY what happen to ASTM in my opinion, and I have seen it quite a bit lately.. Nothing to do with market makers and everything to do with short groups that are just as powerful as the t-mex buying power.
Best thing to do is buy a small quantity- if it gaps you make a few bucks and if it drops, big deal.. the upside is usually great on a gap up..

as for me? I should have followed that advice on ASTM instead of going thru the night with a huge pile.. THat one hurt.. Did a few 3/8 flips (sorry tmex) and now will take the profits from those trades and buy a small amount for hold.. Better to flip that get burnt..
