we missed it, but a nov. 26 new zealand press association report indicates that Talon signed a multi-million dollar contract with thwe Leica Group to supply marine chart navigation equipment to the U.S. Talon's owner Peter Maire indicates that "sales would grow four-fold this year, from $3.5 million, and double next year." i assume he's alking $NZ in U.S. Sales. $NZ 14 million would equal $11.3 million (U.S.) he also says that what is really exciting is in-car GPS systems. "We really do have a couple of very exciting contracts which we can't announce yet." i also spotted a couple of August New Zealand press reports which indicate Talon is going to try to get listed on NASDAQ in 1999!
