Newcomers - Please Read: We need specialists to follow assigned or volunteered issues. We currently have 16 people and I would like to have at least 25. Please read the following and follow the instructions if interested.... ---------------------------------------- Ok people. Lets take this thread to the next level with some serious DD. I have had a few good comments and suggestions for some thread content and I would like to start with one that I think is particularly good. I would like to create some issue specialists. These are people that will become intimately familiar with a particular company of note and will follow this company until it deems itself unworthy to us. You should be willing to DD this company and provide P/E info, earnings info and dates, whisper #s, anaylyst recommends, short position, shares outstanding, news events, TA analysis (Stochastics, MACD), sentiment, volume accumulation, price breakouts, investor relations calls and especially rumors and surrounding hype. Newbies, please do not be scared off. This information is widely available and this is a great way to get started. If you want to start out slow, only take one issue and become THE expert. We will all help with where to get this info. I also strongly encourage each specialist to call the company and be willing to say that you are part of a large group that is looking for issues to invest in and "what can you tell us that would be of interest?". Investory relations calls are the most powerful of DD as this is direct communication with the company....no better info than that. If you have company that you would like to follow, please let me know what it is and you can have it. If you want one assigned, please let me know and I will choose one that is getting some recent attention. I ask that you all start by private mailing me your intent to participate in this and whether you would like an assigned company or companies, or you would like to bring one, or more, to the group. I must reiterate, we do NOT want plain hype for a stock that you are in. We want information and a committment to frequent updates to trends and/or trading worthy events. I again reiterate that newbies should participate as this will take you farther than you may believe in how and where to get info. When the stock of choice is deemed dead, we will drop it and assign a new one. This particular tactic will take this thread to a completely different level that I have not seen anywhere else, lets make this happen. I will be creating a spreadsheet with each persons name and followed issues and will update it to keep the information current. So, to get this started, please private mail me with your interest, number of issues you would like to follow, whether you have your own to bring to the thread or you want assigned stocks and whether you can follow them for an indefinite period of time or not? Lets get it on. Thanks all. And thank you to those that continue to make make suggestions that will make this thread what no other is.
