jeff:

I could not help it but after listening to Bob Barr on the judiciary commiette I have to make the following comment:

You state:
> Remember that Bill Clinton would like you to think he's not "dirty". Uh, and I think he keeps trying to tell us he's not lying.

And I say: Remember Republicans in the congress pushing for the impeachment of the president would like you to think they are not "natzis". Uh, and I think they keep trying to tell us they are being "natzis" for the good of the people and constitution.

And yes I agree, lets stop the negative discussion and focus on SUNW (which I am afraid like other stocks will start to tank if these natzis in the congress prevail with their impeachment nonesense).

Regards,

Addi Jamshidi

Dear Jeff and all: Well actually, they may be interrelated. The house judiciary committe has voted on and passed the first of the Impeachment complaints. (maybe more by now, I got tired of watching) so for sure the WHOLE House of Representatives will be hearing this next week. This COULD have a negative effect on the stock market in general thus causing many fine issues such as SUNW to retrace for at least awhile.
Personally, I have never had much use for Clinton as I believe the President of the USA should be BEYOND reproach and whether you support him or not you MUST ADMIT he has the morals of an alley cat. However, I am thoroughly disgusted with this whole affair. The incredible waste and pandering going on, the democrats on the committee acting like defense counsel and republicans acting like prosecutors. I didnt see ANYONE except MAYBE chairman Hyde acting like an AMERICAN. So much for my soap box statement.
As to SUNW, I have to believe something very good is going on behind the scenes for SUNW to perform so well today. JDN

Yes Folks Morgan Stanley does feel SUNW has a $104. price target..

*Sun Microsystems (SUNW-73SB,target $104.)
Kraemer hosted a Dinner with Dr. Alan Baratz, vice president of SUNW's Java Software Division. Whereas Cisco Systems sold the Routers, or the railroad ties of the Networking Gold Rush. Kraemer thinks SUNW's goal should be to sell the railroad cars (the servers and middleware software) that carry networked applications and services to the next technology gold rush. The new, more open licensing agreement is a step in the right direction to placate IBM, Hewlett Packard, and other major vendors who remain concerned about "too much Sun in Java." Kraemer listed nine key executables for SUNW's Internet/software strategy, the most important of which are as follows:
1) executing with the sales force
2) not competing with the application vendors that drive a lot of SUNW's momentum.
3) leveraging Solaris with bake-offs and the intergration of Java.
His break-up analysis shows fair value of $109-113. The value and upside are still there, and Kraemer maintains his strong Buy rating....
