LU enjoys the perception of being a Internut's company and more recently started to promote this perception.

More so today most of the Internet related stock went sharply up and LU had a move from 95 to 99 for no real reason.

Aside IBM is trading around a 26 P/E and LU at some 135 P/E it does not make any sense.

As long as they can manipulate the stock and give the impression of an Internut's company why should LU merge.

NT is much more in internet related products and is trading at more reasonable multiple that LU.

It also may be that Canadians are not so much into speculation as the Americans and therefore they do not run NT to stratosfere.

In any case LU is substantially cheaper than AMZN and YHOO <GGG> and actually there are assets and great R&D.
