OK, thanks for the clarification...It is wonderful to predict moves and to be right. I've been there, and I know how it feels.

This week, my picking skill has not been good...my shorts go up and my longs go down, for the most part. I need to adjust to the new CNBC, dbc, and, I guess, YAHOO, policy of not accurately reporting the winners of the day. (I found it interesting that dbc, while refusing to admit that ASTM was up over 97% on Wednesday, sure did not waste any time in listing it among the biggest loosers yesterday!!) It used to be so easy. Just find a stock that was way up on the day, buy it, and wait for the pop!

Now, it is more like find the CNBC pop and short it!! If this keeps up, I may have to move back into position trading, rather than day trading ;) At least with position trading, you know you will, eventually, make a nice profit, no matter how false the "media" reporting of the market "facts" are.

This weekend--time to re-evaluate my trading practices in light of the
"truth in reporting" policies of CNBC, dbc, yahoo, and others.

Have a great weekend,
Ed
