Thanks for the compliment. I doubt that I'll be out of ICOS for very long. I'll be back in if ICOS drifts down a bit, and I'll be hanging onto those shares until my retirement. Like I said, I am sitting on some big capital losses, and it'll be nice to take these ICOS profits and partially offset them.

I hope that ICOS doesn't get taken over. Its pipeline is impressive - much more so than Dr. Rathmann's older "child". In any case, I don't think ICOS is a very attractive takeover candidate, at least not at this point, primarily because of its market cap, which is now over $1 billion. Any buyer out there would certainly have to pay quite a premium in order to get enough people to accept the tender. I don't think that any company would be willing to pony up that kind of cash for a company that does not have any products on the market - regardless of the strength of the pipeline. Again, this is pure speculation on my part - I could use the input of anyone with more information about similar sorts of mergers and acquisitions.

What a nice way to end the week. Best wishes and good luck.

Lel

Wrong again about predictions on price movement! :) I should give up this market timing thing.

Best wishes,
