Just in cse it hasn't been posted. Been gone for a few days. A lot of good news the past few days on DELL. It will be reflected in the stock price soon. Should see a move up after options expiration (19 Dec)

Dell Ups Taiwan OEM Notebooks Orders 12/09/98

TAIPEI, TAIWAN, 1998 DEC 9 (NB) -- By Staff Writer, Computex. Although
Dell Computer Corp. [NASDAQ:DELL] will begin assembling notebooks
itself in America next year, Quanta and Compal, two of Dell's OEM
partners in Taiwan, have confirmed that they have received OEM orders
from Dell for next year.

Quanta has announced that 50 percent of the company's expected
shipment of 2 million notebook computers will go to Dell. Compal,
which has not yet announced the size of increased orders from Dell,
indicates that their notebook shipment next year will increase from
this year's 700,000 units to 1.2 million units.
