You get to be in the inner circle ... to be an MM ... Alibi is simple, there is at least 4 times a year where they can play games with you - the earnings ... the earning beat estimates - stock price is going to go up - no, wait a minute, the outlook is for a flat quarter - no good ... it is up to those MM to tell you what the earnings and the conference call should be interpreted by moving the price up or down ... Like the IPO news for NAVR is an alibi to go up, it might take longer for the IPO to come out, an alibi to take it down ... Mikey, you need to know what the hell they are doing ... it is their profession, and I expect they do play this game better than the average Joe ...
