Thanks for posting the ORCL/Sun Micro article here. I think it's verrrrry interesting and will be looking to enter ORCL (which reported good earnings Friday) on the dip on Monday.

I'm still holding DCLK, as it kinda tanked the last half hour of trading. Did you ever find out why it rose so much on Friday?

Hmmm... that microkernel might make the difference. I'm sure that businesses would rather spend their money on PC's than Sparc machines. Man are they expensive and require lots of RAM to operate. I have never used an Oracle database but I can tell you this, it seems that my puter at work needs to be rebooted after running MS Access or it will lock up. We have pretty studly machines at work but Access is not returning resources back to the system after it shuts down. Pretty soon you are out of resources and the system locks up.
