Here is my analysis of the situation presented in the article:

<In early October, the company received a verbal commitment from its top candidate to accept the job, Green said. The candidate requested six weeks to fulfill an employment contract at his current position, Green said. At the end of the six-week period, the candidate notified AFC that he was considering a counteroffer from his current employer, Green said.>

If the original commitment was received as late as mid-October, then that would mean the six-weeks would have been up at the end of November. Most likely it would have been pre-Thanksgiving time (to coincide with "early" October)...which, was when the stock started to slide down. Virtually without explanation-- and left me (and many other AFCI stock owners) scratching heads from bewilderment.

I would have to think that this information was already known by those that had owned large quantities of shares, even though press releases were not issued. I do not know the protocol of this type of situation.

We know things like this DO happen. Leaks.

So, I doubt that this is hitting like a ton of bricks. After all, it was already said and done by the time the article was written.

We shall see...
