Interesting point. I hear people argue that B&N now owns an end-to-end part of the distribution chain, and that this is an advantage. On the other hand, I also hear some saying that their doing so may be their defeat because the whole key to the idea of an Amazon is that they don't need ANY infrastructure, hence their advantage and whole purpose. It will be interesting to see which outcome plays out.
