By the by, I just used Checkfree customer support for a lost payment and the support person was unable to see the mail message previously sent to me and as an explanation, said "we are not on Genesis yet." It seems that this conversion has been going on months and months longer than planned. I had an interesting call from e-Bill customer service a few days back, they we calling to confirm a request I had made to add another biller to e-bill, which is FREE, vs. Paper CheckFree. I said, "where you calling me from, Atlanta?" Service Person, no e-Bill is in Columbus....I Said, "Just the Midwest Service?" Service Person, no as far as I know we are doing all the e-Bill in Columbus. That's where they just bought that large building. I'm just adding two & two together...to get to that one. I guess after starting out with e-Bill first, then going to Bill Pay by Check through Quicken...I'll tell you this...E-BILL SMOKES ON LINE BILL PAY. 1)Because there are more payment scheduling options, by the week for example, 2)Everything gets PAID EXACTLY ON THE DAY YOU CHOOSE IT, not a day before or after because of a PeckerWood Postman, & 3) AND IT'S FREE! Switch to e-Bill even if it is only for a couple billers, the billers are passing the cost savings on to their customers by making it free to us....and why the hell not? They are doing it for a dime digitally vs a dollar by paper....and it helps build the volume needed to make this venture a success by building economies of scale. After all, this is a Monkey....If we learn it, do it, teach it...we can turn this Monkey into 500lb. Gorilla. DO IT AS SOON AS YOU CAN, THE SOONER YOU CAN DO IT....THE SOONER YOU CAN RETIRE.
