Dear Jane (from Nancy),
How are you? I want to share the glory of the Lord in an experience I just had. My father collapsed in his home on Nov. 30th and was taken by 911 to the Hospital where they brought him around. He started to get worse in the Hospital and they told him he had lung cancer and would have a very short amount of time. On Fri. Dec. 4 they sent him home with Hospice care. My father was not very religious and had only in one time in his life accepted the Lord and then went on his own way. I had prayed for him for years and was concerned. On Sat. I was able to talk with him a lot while he was awake. I read John 5:24 to him and asked him if he believed that these verses were true and that Jesus would give him eternal life. He said yes and then he said the only thing he is upset about is that the rapture didn't come a little sooner. I never knew he was aware of the rapture. Anyway he died the next day and his last words were, it is a brand new day, I feel great, I am ready Lord, and then he died. After this experience I can say that I understand grace is very powerfull. God is so good and gentle,
I hope everything is going well for you,
In His love and faithfullness,
Nancy

Amen. Amen. To He who is beside the throne. You are so right.

In the words of the song in God presence sins chains are broken and captives are set free but what I wish and desire is the "glory of he Lord" to be in this place.

Deuteronomy 5:23-24
23
When you heard the voice out of the darkness, while the mountain was ablaze with fire, all the leading men of your tribes and your elders came to me.
24
And you said, "The LORD our God has shown us his glory and his majesty, and we have heard his voice from the fire. Today we have seen that a man can live even if God speaks with him.

To me the GLORY of the Lord can only be described as a relationship that is so personal and meaningful that it fills the individual with a calm and joy and peace that transcends all understanding. Many feel the Glory of the Lord is fireworks and heavens opening and trumpets blazing but ; isn't it an awesome and loving God that says. Daughter , let me show you my Glory. Come into this small closet with me where it is peaceful and quiet and where we are alone and I will show you my glory.

In Christ.gregor
