Good post. I wholeheartedly agree that "It is unfortunate for the country that this has become a partisan rather than a moral/legal/constitutional issue." And that "Perjury by Clinton is unacceptable behavior and should not be condoned because of the personal nature of the activity that he was trying to hide."

There was a Republican from Long Island on CNN's Crossfire last night that feels what Clinton did was unethical, illegal, and that he should be prosecuted when he leaves office. But he believed that it didn't rise to the level of high crimes and misdemeanors. I happen to disagree with him, but I have to respect someone who goes against the party line and truly votes their conscience. It is unbelievable to me that no Democrat on the Judiciary Committee can override party lines and recognize that our Legal and Governmental systems are based on the truth.
