I agree about the Senate. I wouldn't say it's 0%, but let's say it's <10% as of today. As of the date of the vote? we will see. Things change.

The Republican Party is inflicting mortal wounds on themselves with this nonsense.

If the Republican party, was guided solely by opinion polls and PR like Clinton administration, they would just drop the whole thing and they would devote the entire federal budget to breast cancer research.

Unfortunately, this country has laws and constitution, and the Republicans are stuck following the laws. In a contest where one side has to follow the law and the other doesn't, you may say that the side which does follow the law is "inflicting mortal wounds on themselves". I hope, in the long run it will not be viewed that way.
