Morgy Dog,

Your points about food are well placed. All the mistakes which were made prior are here again.....
.....European Banana Wars sound sort humorous,,,,Might be part of Clintons' last attempt to repay United Fruit for their support.
.....With negative news of Congress going forward with impeachment, the price of gold drops $ 3.00. ............What is wrong with this picture?
.....New rules with the BB stocks will force more money into the major market.

I don't understand why there are so few of us who see the construction of this Incredible Exploding Dow Cow......Guess that no one can read the blue prints.

You were speaking about slow X-mas sales (they claim) due to warm weather. You recall a couple of years ago, slow sales were due to a cold winter?
Is there any truth left anywhere?

this article will only be available for the day..otherwise you have to pay for noncurrent articles..
I think this article points to again..how the little guy and the consumer is getting screwed big time..
take it as a metaphor..not as industry specific..ps same thing appears to be happening in England..(on a positive note..I figure that the great
Unknown is in charge of everything and everything works out for the good. :-)
make note of the 45 dollars for the farmer and 331 worth at the supermarket..what kind of a mark up is that..
I am betting this is just not happening to farm industry...
again thanks to Greenspan etc ..control is dwindling to a few..
ps.(now it makes sense when I saw ground pork at 2.39 a pound..)
ps.(I am not a big meat eater..but just outraged at the trend!)
ps.wonder how few now control base metals..and formerly precious metals.. wonder how this trend will be curtailed..
