DVxplore, the world's first CODEC, priced
at $75 per unit in order to address the large Consumer market,
has been a very successful product launch for the company.
CUBE expects that the DVxplore will sell 10 MM units next year.

I'm I right here....$75 X 10,000,000 = 750,000,000.....750 million for one product!!! Am I reading this right? Excerpt from CS First Boston report on CUBE...

Nice one Paul. That Mpegged sure has sources. Maybe he's a broker?

I found the VCD est. interesting...........................

Over the next year, we believe that CUBE should ship
15-16 MM VCD units in 1999 (versus an estimated 14 million
units in 1998
).

14M units in 1998!

In Q1, C-Cube shipped about 4.1M units of VCD chips
Q2 was about 3.0M
Q3 was about 2.8M

Total 9.9M units. That leaves 4.1M units for Q4. ASPs are around $10/unit. A little higher if the mix is shifting to CVD. VCD chip sales should be above $40M for Q4. That would be enough to push total revenue over $100M.
