I know there are real "sharpies" out there that solicite illiquid unit holders to basically let them know where they can get out... ie. real estate unit trusts that go down the drain, probably natural gas as well. But I've never heard of such a thing when there is already a liquid market for the unit! Is it even legal for anyone to tender their units to them at that price???? I can't believe it is! There would be sharpies all over the place calling old widows and orphans bidding for their NYSE stocks below market!
