Hi, Gerry -- I'm going to try hard to keep this constructive, since
as always, I hope your information is right. What you're talking about with HP and WAVX sounds a lot like that "fork in the road" that people were discussing on RB awhile back. But I know I'm not alone when I have a hard time knowing when you're having "fun and games" with us and when it's "Serious in some." (https://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=6525031)

One thing I just can't figure out is why you continue to make such specific and very insistent predictions when you yourself acknowledge that you can't control the timing (https://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=6803770). Is this just fun and games? If so, a lot of people are getting their knickers in a twist over nothing. If you're serious, why make specific predictions about something which you yourself acknowledge that you can't control? If you have information about a buy-in by HP, why not just say something like "I've got information that HP is going to be buying in." Quick, easy and you don't have to eat your words when Friday comes and goes.

By the way, we still don't have a clue about AOL or about GI -- for most all of us, that's still pure speculation.

Speaking of timing, help me understand something else. I can't help but notice that each of your inital posts on recent developments (if they prove in fact to be that) followed within a few minutes of someone having posted identical information over on RB.

What's that about? Again, I'm not trying to be confrontational here, I just want to understand how to take what you say.

Take care,

Andrew

Gerry..

Honestly, I don't know what to do with you let alone how to deal with your "crystal ball." Regardless how you connect things up, I like you too much.

"........ HP and MSFT are joined at the hip."

In what ways we can only guess, I guess. Who's talking to whom? I like Names, Dates, Places..

".........the Wave you see and know will no longer be the Wave you see as tomorrow. "

We all hope so.

"........HP will be calling 95% of the shots regarding Embassy and the course it takes. We will "piggyback" them."

HP will take 95% of the CREDITS regarding EMBASSY. The course EMBASSY takes will be guided by OUR RIDING THEM. There's no one at HP who qualifies with any greater quotient of imagination for the EMBASSY project than Peter and Steven Sprague. If the CEO of HP or any other OEM isn't respectful of them, then they are sorely arrogant and ignorant; a bad combination.

“………Paul Allen will be our cousin in law.”

If Paul Allen returns my e-mail, you will be the first to know… <g>

“……..Cable is guaranteed, Wave is not. Why lay your money on something that has the potential to fall on it's rear”

“Cable” is an ENTIRE industry with troubles guaranteeing its future's technology. Wave Systems is ONE company, the best company, representing an innovation that has a crystalline, technological future. We'd all invest in WAVX before we'd put money down on any individual cable company. So where is Paul Allen's head? Seahawks and Short Term? We, you and I Gerry, must help the “poor” man.

“………I'm quite sure he spotted Wave moons ago.”

I don't think Paul Allen can spell MulTI-cHANnEL ConTeNt DiSTRiBTiON SySTeM without fugging it up. <g>

“…….The meter has to be accepted and USED.”

Kinda like Salsa…

Sincerely yours,
Marty
