Mike,

Thanks for comfort. I think the dumping occurred on last friday was due to Intel's annoucement of chip shortage. Some people still have the vivid memory that PCCC was unable to fill the order last quarter due to the same damn reason. They got scared of stock being halfed overnight, so they rather choose to dump at $13.

The 64 millions dollar question is why PCCC? not every small PC vendor? Well, this time PCCC has CPQ as alliance partner. Let's see what will make the difference. PCCC is the only PC direct marketeer having no inside sellers yet, unlike CDWC, NSIT. they all sold a lot.

MWHS is another dog once I owned. The sudden upside move took me in surprise. The only explanation I could find is that some people finally realized that they are a "Internet AUCTIONEER". Hope this will happen on PCCC.

PCCC 4th qtr earnings recently revised upward to $0.29 (from $0.25):
nasdaq.com

These revisions are not made without some type of guidance from the company.

So assuming PCCC hits their numbers for the qtr, their 1998 EPS will be $1.00 give or take a couple cents ... meaning that as of today the PE ratio is at a ridiculously low value of 11. Sooner or later (before their report date) this is going to go back up.

Of course, now their forward looking PE has shrunk to about 9.4 (11/1.175) where they are already an established player (positive earnings) in the online retail business, meaning that as more people get hooked up to the internet, the more existing companies will benefit.

Sooner or later ... Kaboom!

Cheers

Mike
