Anyone posted anything lately about Lonestar (LSS)- Bass brothers have been buying the stock on a continuous basis since $30. First filing last spring they owned 10% - in their recent filing they owned 43%. Stocks book value is $9.50 and that is where the stock is now. They might not even have to make a bid for the company if they continue to buy the shares as aggressively as they have been as they will break the 50% threshold and can make management changes at their own discretion. Do not know how to read this one. Any thoughts !!!!

Glenn: Which article?

If a spate of overwhelmingly bearish articles in the financial press still means anything from a contrarian point of view, we should be mightly close to a bottom in energy right now.

Does look like the OSX will make a new low soon. But probably not by much and that should mark the end of the bear. Many bulls will capitulate when OSX beaks its triple bottom. Just at the wrong time.
