Hello Everyone-

I have been sorting through tech indicators and trying to figure out how to use them. In order to make it clear in my mind I need to write them down. After doing it, I thought I'd like to share the list with all of you for a look-see and to respond to errors or offer additional comments. I hope that some of the other newbies may be able to use the inforamation, especially as we embark on our specialist roles.

Volume- rising volume with no change in price may signal buy

Bollinger Bands- look for tightening- the longer period of time tightening the better

Stochastics- if %K rises above % D-bullish sign
- if %K falls below ""- bearish sign

- if both drop below 20 then rise above 20-bullish
- if both drop below 80- bearish

- Market overbought- % D makes series of lower highs and price makes series of higher highs-bearish

- Market oversold- %D makes series of higher lows and price makes series of lower lows-bullish

CCI- up over 100-market overbought-selling forthcoming-bearish
- below 100 market oversold- rally forthcoming-bullish

- if price at new highs and CCI not- oversold
- both price and CCI at new highs- good uptrend sign
- both price and CCI at new lows- downtrend sign

MACD- if MACD line crosss above its signal line- buy signal
- if MACD line crosses below signal line- sell

- if MACD line at new high/low and price is not at same then a possible trend reversal signaled

Momentum- if reaches high/low relative to historical range then trend likely to continue
- watch for stock to change price to signal buy/sell

Ultimate Oscillator- much too confusing for my brain! HELP!?!

Looking forward to comments. Also looking for answer to period use when relates to stocastics. Which speed is best?

Also, I use IQC for chart info. Is there a better place?

Hope this wasn't too long and that this will be helpful to others.
