Roger,

I would have to add my voice to those that endorse impeachment. The fact of the matter is is that Clinton committed impeachable acts as defined by the constitution. There's no doubt that the Republicans are enjoying every minute of this but the House has a duty to uphold the law as written. Otherwise, we'd have to change the constitution every time one of the rules doesn't seem to fit somebody's immediate need. Turning their backs on the constitution and voting against impeachment, even though the guilt is clear, would make our government the laughing stock of the world. The reason the American people don't want impeachment is because they don't want anything to disrupt their comfortable lives. It has nothing to do with whether or nor not the public believes the President broke the law. Besides, most Americans don't know what's good for them half the time anyway. I think the integrity of our government is far more important in the long run than the temporary effects an impeachment may have on any of our lives.
