US blue chip tech stocks are a pretty good bet. There is nothing wrong in investing in MSFT shares. Why not give it a shot? It might be the best time to buy. If you hate MSFT and love Novell, IBM, etc
what are you going to get out of it? None of these guys are looking out for you. Investments decisions should just be based on the outlook for the company and not personal biases.
I have to admit I LOVE MSFT as an investment and I also LIKE their products. I don't have much use for most of their software personnally but I think a lot of people do.
I used to love Dell also but as soon as I realized MSFT is a better investment, I switched. I might still buy Dell if an opportunity comes my way.
