Hi Christine,
I've been very busy lately. Lot's to do. Schools being a Jesus free zone is a violation of the first amendment because it restricts the free exercise. Part of free exercise is preaching to the unsaved, gathering together and freely talking about it. That was prohibited. The government has restricted religion. When I have talked about this it was said by "your side" how about religion classes and we'll talk about all of them. Their are religious studies classes already. And thanks to a lot of court battles schools are not a Jesus free zone anymore and students can gather together, pray and even talk to others about Jesus. The state has backed off a step to let the christians have some of their rights back. Now it is better than it was. No forced prayers which is good for the unbeliever, but freedom for the believer also.

As a parent what would you choose for your child? Christianity or unrestrained sex (free condoms for all) and drugs? Or satanism? How about a shoot out at school with your child holding the gun? Which is worse? Christianity teaches good things that will help make a better life for those who practice it. Christianity did not start out converting people at the end of a sword and we are getting back to that in this last century. I have been unable to explain to you what happened in the middle so that you understand, but I understand it. And you cannot lay the blame for it at Jesus's feet because those people were not doing what Jesus told them to do, regardless of what they called themselves.

Bob

Jesus told his disciples that in the future those that would seek to kill them would say they were doing it in the service of God. People will do many evil things in the name of God, but it's just evil men doing what they want to do. It has nothing to do with God.
