NSOL...VRSN, VRIO.. I don't doubt the growth, but what is happening now is simply this. Old fashioned methods of assessing growth and valuation have to be abandoned and other indicators set up for the new internet companies and explosion of opportunity for Internet and Internet-related companies. You also have to separate companies that are already earning like VRIO, NSOL, MSPG, LCOS, YHOO, VRSN or almost earning like CYCH, CKFR from 'flash in the pans' like EBAY, and some of the newer IPO's.
Where does NSOL fall.. probably just below the YHOO's, AMZN's, LYCO's and XCIT..

Then you have to figure out when the "less stable' hi-flyers cease flying which are the companies that will survive and be the 'big leaders' OVER TIME.. It is now obvious that AMZN, AOL, LYCOS will be among the 'leaders' and if you look at their prices the price of NSOL a leader, doesn't seem so overblown. Same with VRSN... The potential of these two are great simply because I think they will end up as the bigger plays after others collapse. As it goes now anyone can almost open a company on the internet and go public.. this can't go on. VRSN and NSOL have 'locked up' their niche in domain name and security. Even with competition they were there there the longest and have a lion's share of the business.

An that is not even all. E-commerce is exploding at such a pace that it is harder to access the enormous potential for companies involved in security, bill paying, on the internet. I feel this first hand as I am 'in' and expansion is quick and only depends on your having a quality product and personal desire to allocate enough of your own time and the sky is the limit.

So what I am doing is simply treating NSOL like I would treat any old favorites like MSFT, CSCO CPQ, DELL and LU.. Wait for the dips and buy in then. I think that says a lot for NSOL and VRSN.. I would not buy MALL, EBAY, BAMM and some of the other on dips, but only as daytrades and momentum plays.

I think NSOL,VRSN,VRIO are among perhaps a dozen companies that have staying power and are proving themselves, thereby moving out of the 'flash in the pan' category to an area reserved for 'growth stocks with investment potential'. I think also BVSN, VRSN,VRIO, GNET, EGGS, BRCM, SPYG,USWB and USAI fall into that category.
