Michelle - I am not saying that this approach works better - I am saying that it seems to be gaining momentum as an implementation strategy, which is what will drive sales near term. The idea of surrounding big boxes with smaller systems to do dedicated tasks has been around for a while but has not gotten much traction. Part of the problem IMO is the battle over EJB vs. COM and COM+ approaches to an application fabric. I think you are right long term, but that won't affect things in the next year or so.
