I find it interesting that very few people seem able to create a new online persona that's sufficiently different from their old one as to defy detection. As you say, it's the little things that give them away.

Of all of Pugs's characters, though, I confess I "like" Spidey the best. And the thought of someone reading his SI posts aloud in court one day is truly delicious.

yeah, I had to explain 'libel' to him last week when he was harrassing my email box. Then he 'exposed' my short-selling activities to the FBI. So I explained to him that shorting is actually legal, the FBI doesn't care - and my accounts show no short sales, ever.

Poor guy got confused and flustered, then told my ISP I was spamming him. So I had to explain to him that his unsolicited, unprovoked barrage of email to me was not likely to win his case.
