dougR Thanks for you read on RTN.b, I have been using the following system comparing the close to a moving average. mov(c -mov(c,10,e),9,s) I can't short stocks from my 401K , but this would be one if I could. I have been looking at weekly charts of stocks that have 5 and 8 week moving averages giving a "sell" signal. the initial list is about 75 stocks. now to filter that and see what it brings forth. Maybe I will try the 8,3,5 stoch as one of the filters. collin
