A focused US and Canadian retailer (sourcing their raw materials and finished goods from now low-cost Asian markets) is an excellent prescription to a stall in the "new comfy nifty fiftys" earnings streams that the large funds are forced to concentrate in.

Take this outlet away and those fund's cash positions will come sloshing around to the next tier - big board secondaries with viable balance sheets, minimal global exposure and a turnaround story at that.
