Yes they are. But at $5.50, the offer is generous given the number of ounces indicated so far. Even if the new holes are very good, the total will not double. IMO, ARP's managers are either greedy or too optimistic... or they know something we don't know. We may find out this week.

Still, given the deposit strategic importance to Barrick, it is fair to say that the downside risk appears to be limited. So, owning ARP at current price make sense.
