I don't agree with the argument some Y2K'ers tell me. They have said we have to scare people about Y2K so they will listen.

Well take this slant, a year or two ago, they Y2K experts on radio shows told people their cars, toasters, VCR's, Microwave ovens, clocks, etc would not work. This has been proven to be BS in most cases, so the average Joe maybe would not listen to anyone else, figuring that Y2K was all BS.

Listen to this, 4 weeks ago I heard on a radio show the guests said on Jan.1/2000 your mutual funds would be gone, come to our seminar tonight...blah...blah...blah...

Y2K hype can backfire on these "ALARMISTS"
