A bit off topic, and I am NOT suggesting anything, but did you hear about Joe D.'s recovery in a florida hospital. According to the report I heard, Drs are astounded at his recovery. Lung X-ray shows tremendous improvement. They attribute it to a switch to IV antibiotic.
Does anyone know which one?
That said, I dont think he was on oral antibiotics while in coma.
Something just doesnt sound right. So without starting any groundless rumors, I would like to know which hospital he is in, and which hospitals in florida(if any) are trial hospitals. I think the chances are about nil of these two going hand in hand, but I am curious none the less. I repeat, this is only a request for info on sites, or antibiotic, nothing more. Anyone know?
All disclaimers.

"Why did Lehman Bros. make the recommendation to Xoma"....a brokerage house would do anything for a client to secure future underwriting business. I can assure you, the HUGE bonuses that will be paid out in the next few weeks to Lehman Bros. employees will not be going to the broker that makes a living selling stock to we small investors.

As for the ability to offer preferred convertibles without the benefit of being domiciled in Bermuda isn't relevant to the issue that XOMA is using to make this move. The issue is merely taxes, or so they indicate.

Bluegreen, I'm just a mere small investor in XOMA and needless to say, I'm way "underwater" with my investment. Therefore, I want XOMA to succeed, but not at the expense of tax avoidance. What if every American company decided to move to Bermuda to avoid taxes?
