Dear TB

To summarize (just the fax, Mam, just the fax - forgive me my spelling): we're in for some deep deep sh... And I dreamed of white (or dollar-green) Xmas.

Honestly the world is not in a good shape. And US/Senate comittee is doing the best they can to dispel the impression everything is OK in the good Ol' US.

We're in for roaring 20s I guess. And I still have 2.5 kids to get through the college - You can bet twice what they will be telling me in 2005.

TB...er.. Sgt. Friday RE: "The facts"
FWIW I too follow the fund flows on Amgdata and Trimtabs. Have also noted the recent equity fund outflows as a sign of market weakness. But of course this also means(As Gersh noted a few weeks ago) that there is lots of " rally fuel" piling up on the sidelines.
I have always been puzzled there could actually be net outflows as I always thought that most 401k contributors chose from a laundry list of equity, bond, cash funds etc. and let payroll deductions make their investments using dollar cost averaging. Apparently a great number of people actively manage their 401k rather than invest through passive deductions. Or is it the result of 1% of the people controlling 90% of the wealth and the 401ks are peanuts? Can anyone enlighten?
Anyway I suspect that your bearish T/A indicators are correct in the shortterm aided in part by end of year tax loss selling in the non tax sheltered accounts. So still holding onto WAG current selloff followed by Jan-Feb rally. BWDIK

See you at the F.O.P. Friday
-John
