<When was the last time Ampex had a press release other than to announce earnings or the MicroNet agreement?>

I think the basic idea is to use press releases for GOOD NEWS, if at all possible!! Since there basically isn't any GOOD NEWS for AXC I guess they're keeping their mouths shut.

Of course, they could try a new course...

<<Hot...Hot...Hot...from Ampex-MarComm...

April 1, 2000-Somewhere In A Corporate Trailer Park

Ampex announced today that it was on schedule with its planned slide into oblivion. Company Chairman Ed Bramson remarked that the company was executing perfectly on its strategic plan: "...revenues are down, royalties are down, profits are down...things are going the way we anticipated."

Ampex's strategic plan, code named "Kevorkian", is the first in U.S. corporate history to be based upon the notion of planned downsizing that will go all the way to the point that there is only one Ampex employee.

In anticipation of this management confirmation that the company is meeting its planned objectives, the company's stock(AXC.DOOM) reached a new all time low of $.0001. The company's shares are listed on the Dominican Open Option Market, stock exchange.

Further details can be obtained by contacting Karen @ Ampex, MarComm...

<NOTE: The above is a SPOOF, not a real AXC press release(you'd have to be a Kevorkian patient to think otherwise).
