T, There are obviously no guarantees in this area, but every time I have bought DeBeer's under $13 in the past, I've made good money. And that is since the 1970s.

keep in mind that those earnings are likely to fall and the dividend likely to be cut by about 50%. If countries do not impose capital controls to combat the coming problems, I find it hard to believe that diamonds will do that well as the world economy slows. I agree that there is value in this company at these prices even assuming a world recession w/ no capital controls and own some myself, but just keep the above in mind when you buy. :)
