jla.. I just listened to Lindsay Graham and found him to be honest and engaging in his support of voting the impeachment articles and letting it be settled in the House or passed to the Senate. I do sympathize with those who see Clinton having broken the law, but the case in total stinks of political railroading. Unfortunately the original source of this proceeding is less than the sum of its parts, that being sex between consenting adults. You may rightly be disgusted with his behavior as I am, but its not criminal to have sex in the oval or any other government office. If I'm wrong on this I would like someone to post the actual law. Plainly its a moral consideration not a constitutional one and it obscures the weight of the legal charges in most people's mind, especially since the right wing religeous movement is intimate to the attack. Had another source been the root of this process, had true high crimes been the cause, there would be more sympathy in the public's mind. However, and with emphasis.. Starr's investigation and the connections to the Jones case reek of a plan to entrap and setup, not to mention his apparent overstepping the proper authority of his charge in his pursuit of evidence. Starr's own mentor disowned him in public for abdicating his role of investigator to advocate. The net result is that those who dislike Clinton are willing to use any and all means to remove him from office including causing damage to the house they live in. Bottom line, Clinton isn't worth it.
